North Okaloosa County residents who graduated or received other educational honors are listed below.

Brooke Jones

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — Brooke Jones, of Crestview, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Jones was initiated at Auburn University.

Jones is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.

Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction. Eastern New Mexico University dean's list

PORTALES, New Mexico — The following area students have been named to Eastern New Mexico University's dean's list for the spring 2021 semester:

  • Victoria Stone, Crestview.
  • Patrick Adams, Crestview.

To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours with a GPA of 3.25 or greater.

Troy University chancellor's list

TROY, Alabama — Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor's List for the spring semester and Term 4 of the 2020/2021 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List.

The spring semester includes students at the Troy campus. Term 4 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Alabama, along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Local students named to the Chancellor's list include:

  • Ariana Fulton of Crestview.
  • Micah Brannon of Holt.

Noah Overton

SEARCY, Arkansas — The following students are among more than 1,150 Harding University students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the spring 2021 semester.

  • Noah Overton, a Junior computer science major, of Crestview.

The dean's list honors those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes. For more information, visit harding.edu.

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — The University of Alabama awarded some 5,860 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies April 30-May 2.
