BAKER — The Baker Gatorettes Dance Team has the "Spear-It" after a recent visit to Florida State University in Tallahassee.

The team visited Sept. 10 on Spear It Day, met the FSU Golden Girls and participated in a dance clinic. The Gatorettes learned new dance moves, a new dance, and the FSU spirit dance.

At noon, the Gatorettes joined the Golden Girls on the field at the FSU stadium for the pre-game performance, dancing as thousands of FSU fans watched.

"I was very proud of them! They all danced, smiled and were incredible!" Gatorette coach Stacy Burlison said. "I can’t wait to take them again next year!"
