CRESTVIEW — It will look and feel a lot like Christmas at Crestview High School from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 6 when the Bulldog Quarterback Club hosts the inaugural Bulldog Bazaar.
The bazaar, which will future a variety of arts and crafts, is a perfect place to find, or as the case might be, sell that perfect gift.
“You can come to the bazaar and still make it to the Christmas Parade,” Chris Moore, Bulldog Quarterback Club vice-president and fundraising coordinator said.
More than 50 vendors have signed up for the bazaar so far.
“We want to fill up with as many vendors as we can,” Moore said. “We can use the gym and the multi-purpose room, and then put vendors all down the hallways.”
Quarterback Club member Lorie Hannefield is chairing the bazaar and suggested the event to the club.
“I come from Oklahoma and every school has a bazaar,” Hannefield said. “It’s a huge fundraiser out there.”
Vendor fees will go to the Quarterback Club, but Moore said Crestview High School teams and other organizations will receive a booth at no cost and all the money raised will go to their organization.
Food will be available at concession stand. The stand will be hosted by the girls basketball team. The Crestview High School Culinary Arts program and the CHS French Club also will be selling food.
Moore said the goal is to have a wide variety of booths and not to have multiple individuals or organizations selling similar products.
“We are trying to make sure we have a good variety,” she said. “We don’t want people to walk in and it be all the same thing.
“We want it to be good for the public and we want it to be good for our vendors,” Moore said. “We want everybody to come back next year and do it again.”
The Quarterback Club also will give away door prizes and host a silent auction.
