NICEVILLE — A total of 22 students now hold Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Northwest Florida State College.
The college honored students who successfully completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program during the summer 2016 semester on Aug. 8.
Four were recognized with the following awards: Lamp of Leadership Award – LeAnn Holcombe; Heart of Nightingale Award – Brian Cuchens and Karla Degallerie; Highest Overall Grade Point Average – Ronald Weinstein of Crestview.
Students were recognized for maintaining a 4.0 GPA for their BSN courses while in the program: Courtney Ball, Aimee Burnett, Brian Cuchens, Douglas Foushee, Summer Hatcher, LeAnn Holcombe, Claire Hooks, Jessica Humann, Ester Molder, Anabelle Nearhoof, Ronald Weinstein, Alice Wilks, and Heather Wright.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates are: Hannah Ott, Wendy Spainhour, Ronald Weinstein, Halley Wester and Alice Wilks, all of Crestview; Courtney Ball, Destin; Aimee Burnett, Southern Pines, N.C.; Stephen Chiu, Niceville; Brian Cuchens, Karla Degallerie, Brittani Denney, Claire Hooks and Rachel Rida, all of Fort Walton Beach; Doug Foushee and Franchesca Suarez-Cortes, both of Navarre; Nancy Franklin and Anabelle Nearhoof, both of Tallahassee; Summer Hatcher, Freeport; LeAnne Holcombe, Jacksonville; Jessica Humann, Riverview; and Ester Molder and Heather Wright, both of Mary Esther.
