CRESTVIEW — Incoming sixth-graders may attend Panther Camp at Davidson Middle School.
The event starts with registration from 8:15-9 a.m. July 28; camp is 9 a.m. to noon. Students will learn about life as a middle-school student. Last year's camp included locker combination practice and discussion of lunchroom rules, along with icebreakers and games.
No parents may attend. However, a Coffee with the Counselors information session for parents is 11 a.m. to noon July 28 at Davidson, and open house is as follows:
●Sixth grade, 5-6:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
●Seventh and eighth grades, noon to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
The first day of school is Aug. 10.
