CRESTVIEW — Silvercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center has won a national award for excellence.
The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living presented the 2016 Silver Achievement in Quality Award to the Crestview center.
The award is the second of three distinctions — Bronze, Silver and Gold — available for providers that demonstrate commitment to improving quality of care for residents and patients in long-term and post-acute care centers and communities.
At the Silver level, members develop and demonstrate effective approaches that help improve performance and health care outcomes.
Silvercrest will now advance in developing approaches to meet the criteria for the Gold award.
Al Hudson, Silvercrest administrator, said, "Everyday, 24-7, the women and men of Silvercrest Health and Rehab work to ensure the highest level of quality and person-centered care to our residents, patients and their families. We are honored to be recognized for the work we do."
Awards will be presented to honorees Oct. 18 during the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living’s 67th annual convention in Nashville.
