CRESTVIEW — A 17-year-old is accused of attacking his step-father with a knife after a fight over an X-box Friday night.

Jesus Jimenez suffered eight stab wounds, including four in the back and one in the head.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has charged 17-year-old Michael Tylor Sharon with domestic

violence related attempted murder.

OCSO deputies were called to 1810 Hurlburt Field Road #13 around 10:10 p.m. June 10.

Family members say Sharon had gotten angry because Jimenez would not give him his X-box.

They say Jimenez noticed Sharon had a knife in his hand and tried to push him out the bedroom

door but the two began wrestling and Jimenez was stabbed repeatedly before Sharon fled the home.

Deputies located Sharon outside a residence on Cloverdale Road and transported him to the

Department of Juvenile Justice facility near Crestview.

Jimenez was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which were

described as severe.
