FORT WALTON BEACH — The next meeting of the Society for Human Resource management will include a presentation on insider threat prevention.
Speaker Tammy Thompson, a facility security officer, will discuss the topic, "HR's Role with Insider Threat Prevention."
She is an Okaloosa Community Emergency Response Team Member and an alumni of the Fort Walton Beach Citizen’s Policy Academy. In the last two years, Tammy has been at the forefront in the development and implementation of an "Insider Threat & Awareness Report Program" she has shared with many other organizations across the U.S.
Registration for the meeting is 7:15-7:30 a.m. June 15 at the Two Trees Restaurant on the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course, 1959 Lewis Turner Blvd. Cost is about $20 per person.
