FORT WALTON BEACH — The Choctawhatchee Bay chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet to honor a local businessman.
The group will present the NSDAR Americanism Award to Dr. Paul Hsu and his wife, Maggie, at 5 p.m. May 26 Clemenza's in Uptown Station, 75 Eglin Parkway. State DAR representatives Ginger Poffenberger, Kay Yarbrough, and Bobbie Schofield will also attend the event.
In addition to being a business leader, an engineer, a Harvard Senior Fellow and lifelong entrepreneur, Hsu founded four successful corporations, including the Crestview Technology Air Park, which provides infrastructure for aerospace and technology driven solutions in Northwest Florida. He also wrote his autobiography, "Guardians of the Dream, The Enduring Legacy of America’s Immigrants."
