NICEVILLE — Brian Pennington, Northwest Florida State College Board of Trustees chair, announced the college has selected a candidate to interview for the president opening.
On Wednesday, March 16, the board voted to interview Sasha Jarrell for the position of college President.
"The board of trustees have voted to interview interim president, Dr. Sasha Jarrell, for the permanent position," Pennington said. "Dr. Jarrell is currently serving the college in the role of interim president. The two finalist candidates, Dr. Juston Pate and Dr. Anthony Tricoli, are still under consideration for the position."
Two candidate forums are scheduled for Monday, March 28
An open community forum with Jarrell is 10 a.m. March 28, followed by a college staff forum at 2 p.m.
The board will interview her during its 8:30 a.m. March 30 meeting, and then  deliberate to discuss all candidates. All forums and the trustee meeting will be held in the Student Services Center, Room 302 on the Niceville campus.
All information and updates related to Jarrell's application and candidate forum schedule will be available on the college's Presidential Search page by 5 p.m. March 18.
