Okaloosa deputies seek information on 3 Holt car burglaries

HOLT — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglaries of three vehicles that occurred around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holt Academy on Highway 90.

The thief or thieves reportedly took several purses. Windows were smashed on two of the vehicles and the third had been left unlocked long enough for the victim to go into the building and pick up her child, according to an OCSO incident report.

The purses contained items ranging from credit cards and checkbooks to an iPhone and prescription medications, deputies said.

The OCSO asks anyone with information on the burglaries to call 689-5705 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers, 863-TIPS.
