The Northwest Florida State College Presidential Search Committee met Friday, Feb. 5 to go through applicant packets and narrow them down to their top considerations.
“Based on conversation and review of the remaining applicants, a few additional questions were decided upon to present to the remaining candidates,” said Brian Pennington, NWFSC trustee board chair.
“The search firm, RPA Inc. will contact applicants with some additional questions in the coming days to provide the committee with further details of their background and experience. Our committee will reconvene on Friday, Feb. 19 to review our remaining candidate’s responses to our questions and narrow to our list of ‘semifinalist’ candidates.”
After semifinalists are selected, in-person interviews begin the last week of February, from which finalists will be selected. After that, on-campus interviews with various college stakeholders will take place, Pennington said.
