CRESTVIEW — A Crestview teacher faces a battery charge after allegedly starting, and losing, a fight at North Okaloosa Medical Center.
Ronda Cawthon, a 48-year-old first-grade teacher at Bob Sikes Elementary, was arrested Jan. 10 and charged with battery after an altercation with another woman, according to a Crestview Police Department arrest report.
Around 1:44 p.m., the report said the victim and the victim’s sister were walking down a hallway in the hospital when they noticed Cawthon at an elevator.
