CRESTVIEW — Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University now has a crowdfunding campaign for assistance in developing a small unmanned aircraft system consumer guide.
Despite recent technological and regulatory advancement, concern for irresponsible operation of unmanned aircraft systems weighing 55 pounds and under is growing.
ERAU-Worldwide hopes to reach a large, diverse audience through detailed examination of at least 15 popular small UASes and development of a consumer guide.
The guide will help promote thorough platform consideration and comparison, before purchase and use, according to an Embry-Riddle spokesperson.
