CRESTVIEW — The Northwest Florida State College Foundation seeks nominations for its 2016 Alumni Awards.
The foundation will honor deserving graduates of Okaloosa-Walton Junior College, Okaloosa-Walton Community College, Okaloosa-Walton College or NWF State College.
Award categories are as follows:
●Distinguished Alumni Award: one who has a true success story in a state or national arena.
●Against The Odds Award: one who has achieved success despite adversity.
●Rising Star Award: one under 40 years of age who has a success story with potential for achievement in a state or national arena.
●Hometown Hero: one who has achieved success within the college's district and demonstrated notable community involvement.
Nominations for the 2016 awards are due by Feb. 1, 2016. Award recipients will be recognized at the foundation's Aug. 26, 2016 annual dinner.
