The Crestview Fire Department responds to a Thursday morning accident scene at Main Street and State Road 85. First responders used Jaws of Life equipment to extract the occupants of this Toyota Sienna van.

CRESTVIEW — There were no injuries in a Thursday morning two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Main Street and State Road 85 that left a van toppled on its side.

Crestview Police said the late-model Toyota Sienna van turned in front of a southbound older white Buick Century sedan. The van ended up on its passenger’s side.

There was minimal front-end damage to the Buick.

Crestview Fire Department responders extricated the van’s occupants using Jaws of Life equipment to cut back the front roof and slice out the windshield.

Police said they responded rapidly to the accident, which happened around 10:45 a.m., because they had been responding to a previous accident a few blocks south of Main Street on S.R. 85.
