OKALOOSA ISLAND — Hispanic Fest 2015, a family-oriented, cultural and educational festival that showcases Hispanic folklore, music and food, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center.
Additions to this year’s event include a fashion show and a presentation by Tallahassee’s Theater with a Mission. The “Happy World Kids’ Zone” will provide face-painting, games, clowns, magicians and more.
Businesses sponsorships are available and vendors’ spots are still open. Event proceeds benefit the Annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Needy Children’s Fiesta.
"Hispanic Fest 2015 provides an invaluable opportunity to reach out and market to the growing Hispanic community of the Emerald Coast and overall North, Northwest Florida and Southeast Alabama region, as well as the large quantities of Non-Hispanics expected to attend," an event spokesperson said.
United for a Good Cause Inc., a Navarre-based, tax exempt 501(c)(3) charity organization, will present the event. Learn more at www.unitedforagoodcause.org. See the event flyer on this page.
