CRESTVIEW — A 26-year-old Okaloosa County School District bus driver has been put on administrative leave following her recent arrest. Christina B. Russell, of Crestview, was arrested Monday after investigators discovered a methamphetamine lab inside her home while serving an arrest warrant on her husband, according to a news release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. The district put her on paid leave until the Okaloosa County School Board meets again to decide what action to take, according to Mike Foxworthy, the chief of human resources for the school district. Upon her arrest, Russell said she let her husband, Allen Rhinehart, cook the meth while children were present. Russell was charged with conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine and child neglect without great harm. Rhinehart was not home at the time of her arrest.
