FORT WALTON BEACH — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate Melissa Ann Birtzer, a 42-year-old woman who was last seen at her home Nov. 17.
When she left the home on Northampton Circle that afternoon she did not take her wallet, credit cards or cash, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
None of her family members have spoken with her since and they told investigators it is very uncharacteristic for her to have left with no contact.
Birtzer is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, according to the Sheriff’s Office. She has blonde hair and green eyes.
Investigators believe she left the home in a 2003 dark blue Toyota 4-Runner with Florida tag 736PXB.
