Crestview man charged with robbery by snatching; police seek more leads

CRESTVIEW — Charles Howard Coleman III, 32, of Crestview, has been arrested and charged with robbery by sudden snatching and resisting arrest without violence, the Crestview Police Department stated.

Coleman was arrested on Wednesday after encountering a female, taking money from her hand and fleeing on foot, according to police. After officers arrived on scene, Coleman was located nearby and reportedly fled on foot. He was promptly detained, transported and released into the custody of the Okaloosa County Jail.
