FORT WALTON BEACH — Bridgeway Center Inc. associates Dee Adams, Brittany Allen, Leigh Price, Autumn McAllister, Donna Morgan, Brooke Harrison and Jamie Tutnjevic recently received certification in the Nurturing Parenting program.
NP’s family-based programs offered at BCI Outpatient Services group visitations in Crestview and Fort Walton Beach teach nonviolent parenting by helping parents develop empathy and learn appropriate expectations of children according to their ages. The training also promotes positive self-worth with dignity for children and adults; develop an understanding of care and compassion; and help all family members develop a meaningful level of self-awareness and acceptance.
The U.S. Army, Navy and Marines implemented the Parenting Nurturing programs in their New Parent Support Programs.
