CRESTVIEW — A woman told Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputies her boyfriend struck her with a baseball bat and broke a picture frame over her head.
On Dec. 14 deputies were called to a James Lee Boulevard residence about a battery case. A woman at that address said her boyfriend of four years, 42-year-old Donald Ray Adams of Crestview, struck her with a baseball bat on her legs and back several times, and broke a picture frame over her head in a three-day period of abuse.
He also punched her, kicked her, and slammed her to the ground numerous times, she said. The deputy noticed severe bruising and injuries to the woman's face, neck, back and legs.
Adams refused to say anything.
He was charged with aggravated battery and has a Feb. 12 court date.
