Cigar and Coffee shop coming to Crestview

Construction on Hot Spot Cigars and Coffee, 5155 S. Ferdon Blvd., is in its final stages. The business, opening next month, will offer a variety of cigar and coffee products, co-owner Steve Lancaster says.

CRESTVIEW — Construction on Hot Spot Cigars and Coffee is steadily moving along, co-owner Steve Lancaster said.

"It's going to be 4,200 square feet of smoking, relaxing, (and) coffee-drinking enjoyment," he said.

Lancaster — who has operated a Hot Spot location in Fort Walton Beach for 15 years — said he and his wife, Gina, are bringing their business to Crestview while they still can.

"The Crestview market is growing," Lancaster said. "I wanted to get my foot into the market before it gets too expensive.”

The second location of his business, on South Ferdon Boulevard, is in the final stages of completion with plans to open next month.

The business will offer many types of cigars stored in a walk-in humidor. In addition, the business will offer a coffee bar, featuring different blends.

Inside, patrons can smoke cigars, drink coffee or both. The building features an air purifier system that benefits smokers and non-smokers.

"People can watch the football games or other sporting events or they can just come up spend time with their friends," Lancaster said.

Hot Spot is hiring six to eight employees with retail or hospitality experience for full- and part-time positions.

Job seekers can apply at the Fort Walton Beach location, 642 Beal Parkway.
