CRESTVIEW — Skeletal remains found March 28 in the woods off Pandora Drive come from a DeFuniak Springs man, Crestview police said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the medical examiner's office identified Damian Matthew Andrews, 31, through DNA evidence at the scene and dental records.
Andrews' sister reported him missing to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in February of 2011, police said.
The cause of death is unknown due to the remains' condition, police said.
