The Society for Human Resource Management's Emerald Coast chapter is sponsoring a “Suit-Up to Move up” clothing drive this month.
The initiative provides interview and work clothes, at no cost, to people seeking employment.
"We are asking that those in the workplace consider donating their professional clothing that is no longer being used," a spokesperson said. "The items should be clean, pressed and on hangers. There is a current need for men’s and women's khaki pants. Accessories are also welcome."
Crestview area residents can drop items off at Career Source Center, 212 Wilson Street.
The chapter's breakfast meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 19 at Two Trees Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach. Registration — $10, members; $15, non-members — is at 7 a.m.
