LAUREL HILL — Two Florala teenagers are facing burglary and larceny charges after being arrested by the Walton County Sheriff’s office on Tuesday.
Jacob Ryan Bundy, 17, and Tabitha Lynne Young, 19, were held at gunpoint by a citizen, who reported witnessing Lundy entering the Paradise Lotto convenience store through a back entrance while the business was closed.
In a press release, the witness told authorities that Lundy left the business with several packs of cigarettes. The witness said Lundy left the scene with a female in a vehicle heading towards Florala, Ala.
Shortly after leaving the scene, both suspects returned to 167 State Road 85.
Upon their return, the witness contacted the Sheriff’s Office. In the press release, the witness then pulled a gun on Lundy, after Lundy began to approach him.
The witness reportedly had both suspects on the ground at gun point until officers from the Florala Police Department arrived on scene. The officers detained the suspects until sheriff's deputies arrived.
