Crestview woman charged with battery in front yard

CRESTVIEW — A 32-year-old Crestview woman had her day in court July 8 after being accused of "beating" a man in her front yard before neighbors called police.

Crestview officers were called about a public fight on June 16, according to the arrest report. The caller said Tonya J. Forcier was "beating" a man in her front yard.The caller also said the man had not hit Forcier.

Forcier told officers she punched a wall and cut her knuckle, according to the report. The man then told Forcier that she needed to tell the truth.

The man told Forcier that the police were called because someone saw her hitting him, the report said.

Forcier is charged with battery – touching or striking.
