Baker man faces potential 6-year sentence in Baker strangling case

William Eddins, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit, announced today that Vaughn Nicholas Pottle has been convicted of domestic violence by strangulation and battery charges after a jury trial on Tuesday.

The charges arose from an Dec. 15, 2013 incident in Baker.

Pottle and his fiancée were involved in an argument at their residence. Pottle then fled the scene.
