Drivers will encounter traffic variations on the following state roads in Okaloosa and Walton counties as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.
OKALOOSA COUNTY
Interstate 10 resurfacing from east of County Road 189 (Holt/ Exit 45) to west of Yellow River — Drivers can expect intermittent eastbound and westbound closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Thursday, Dec. 7 as crews perform construction activities.
State Road 85 (South Ferdon Boulevard) turn-lane construction just south of I-10 at the Waffle House — Southbound traffic will encounter intermittent lane restriction from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4 through Thursday, Dec. 7 as crews construct a southbound, right-turn lane at the existing driveway to Waffle House.
WALTON COUNTY
U.S. 98 widening from Emerald Bay Drive to Tang-O-Mar Drive — Motorists can expect alternating east and westbound lane closures from the Okaloosa/Walton County line to Tang-O-Mar Drive from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. through Thursday, Dec. 7 as roadway widening and drainage upgrades continue.
All activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
