Okaloosa County Commissioner Nathan Boyles will discuss recent storm damage at 5:30 p.m. July 17 at the Okaloosa County Courthouse. Public Works staff will also be available to provide updates and answer questions.
“I encourage anyone impacted by damaged or failing infrastructure to attend the meeting, and share your ideas and concerns,” Boyles said.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved a 14-day extension for storm and flood survivors to register for disaster assistance. Monday, July 21 is the registration deadline.
Residents affected by the storms and flooding from April 28 to May 6 can register at DisasterAssistance.gov or on a smart phone at m.fema.gov.
