A 47-year-old Crestview man is critically injured after losing control of the Polaris 500 ATV he was driving on Batten Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Richard Lee McKinney was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola after the 3:55 p.m. Tuesday crash.
McKinney was traveling eastbound when he made a sharp swerve to the left for unknown reasons and lost control of the vehicle, the release said.
The ATV overturned and ejected McKinney, who wasn't wearing a helmet.
