Crestview trio arrested in drug bust

CRESTVIEW — Three Crestview residents are charged in connection with a Sept. 11 drug bust. 

Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force members, along with state probation and parole officers, conducted an investigation at 160 Kit Drive in Crestview.

The investigation, prompted by a tip to Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers, led to discovery of a cache of drug paraphernalia and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, as well as a “one-pot” cooking vessel that contained approximately 45 grams of methamphetamine, according to an arrest report.

Emmanuel Villareal, 40; Amanda Wheeler, 30; and Crystal Haynes, 36, were arrested on trafficking in methamphetamine and other drug related charges.
