Man charged with possession of weed, stun gun

A 22-year-old Crestview man accused of possessing weed and a stun gun has an Oct. 21 court date.

Crestview Police officers were called for an argument between Shaba Ryheem Savage and a woman, whom he allegedly punchedĀ  in the face, on Sept. 12, according to the arrest report.

Officers detained Savage and found a small bag of marijuana and a stun gun in his left front pants pocket, according to the report. He was on probation after a charge of felony fleeing or eluding an officer at the time.

He is charged with felony battery as a second or subsequent offense, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, felony violation of probation and possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon.
