Silvercrest gets five-star rating

CRESTVIEW — Silvercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center, a 60-bed skilled nursing facility located near Interstate 10 and State Road 85, is a five-star facility, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

CMS developed the Five-Star Quality Rating System for consumers, families, and caregivers to easily compare local nursing homes by identifying areas of interest when choosing a nursing home.

CMS gives each nursing home a ranking between one and five stars; 5 ranks the center as above average. Each nursing home receives an overall rating and a separate rating for health inspections, staffing and quality measures.

Silvercrest also received the My InnerView Award — recognizing superior commitment to customer satisfaction — and the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award.

"Our goal is to provide a compassionate community of caring for our residents, families, and associates to achieve their highest quality of life through education and excelling standards of practice," a spokesperson with the facility said.
