First Judicial Circuit Law Enforcement Association donates to Children in Crisis

CRESTVIEW — The First Judicial Circuit Law Enforcement Association has donated $750 to purchase computer and educational equipment for at-risk clients living in the Children in Crisis Neighborhood.

"The donation was truly a blessing and came at a perfect time in our development of the CIC Neighborhood," Ken Hair, CIC president and CEO, said. "We provide a home to about 100 children every year, and most are behind (academically) in school.

"This donation will be an enormous help with our tutoring and educational programs to get our kids back on track."

The CIC Neighborhood provides housing and emergency shelter for children removed from an unsafe environment on short notice to help with the foster home shortage.
