Publix managers presented a $363,041 check to United Way of Okaloosa-Walton Counties recently for the organization's 2014 campaign.
With that donation, Publix became the local United Way’s largest campaign donor this year. hen Publix associates made a UW donation, Publix Super Markets Charities, Inc. gave a matching dollar gift to the organization.
The funds will be used to improve area residents' quality of life.
