Powered by a pair of touchdown runs by Ladarius Wiggins, the Eagles made it look easy in rolling to a 33-7 win.

About the only two things that went right all night for the Bulldogs were winning the opening toss and the crowning of senior Molly Kitchen as the Homecoming Queen.

The rest of the night belonged to Pine Forest.

The Eagles flexed their muscle on the opening possession of the game taking the ball to their 33 to the Bulldog 36. The drive ended when Gage Powers intercepted a Xavier Saulsberry pass.

Pine Forest (3-4) forced the Bulldog offense into a three-and-out. Alik Whited’s punt gave the Eagles the ball at their own 30 for their second possession of the game.

As was the case with the first possession, the drive ended with a Saulsberry turnover when he fumbled and Blayze Spencer recovered the ball for Crestview.

And as was the case before, the Bulldogs (2-5) were unable to take advantage of the Eagle mistake.

Pine Forest finally got on the scoreboard with 7:47 left in the second quarter when Wiggins scored from a yard out.

Saulsberry hit Jeremiah Jackson with a 60-yard scoring pass with 3:51 left in the half to give Pine Forest a 12-0 advantage. The touchdown came two plays after Jackson intercepted a Rusty Moorer pass.

Dejon Brown scored for the Eagles on a 22-yard run with 6:56 left in the third quarter. Wiggins hit Keshawn Showers with a pass for the 2-point conversion.

A 32-yard run by Saulsberry made it 26-0 late in the third quarter.

Crestview finally got on the scoreboard with 11:49 left in the game when Rusty Moorer hit Marquis McClain with a 7-yard touchdown pass. Tyler Hancock hit the extra point to conclude the Bulldog scoring on the night.

Wiggins finished what he started with a 7-yard run to close out the scoring with 7:44 left in the game.

The Pine Forest defense held Crestview to 166 yards in total offense. Moorer was 13-of-27 passing for 129 yards and two interceptions.

D.J. Stewart led the Bulldogs in rushing with 57 yards.

Lajonte Watson had four catches for 49 yards.
