CRESTVIEW — In the age of corporate chain drug store sameness, Moulton’s prides itself as a neighborly institution where “patients aren’t just a number,” its newest pharmacist, Clint Stephens said.
Stephens, whose family is close to Rick and Gloria Moulton, represents the newest generation of Moulton pharmacists, and says he loves it.
“It feels like a big family,” he said. “That’s what we like.”
Friday morning he, pharmacist Doyle Edmondson and pharmacy technician Tim Jones scurried to fill customers’ orders while they waited and visited in the gift shop in front of the store.
“We try to make it a friendly place for our friends and customers,” Gloria Moulton said.
Customers like that personal service, Moulton said.
“My parents used Moulton’s and I use them,” Lorry Castleberry said. “It’s a great place.”
“I’ve been coming here 35 years and Rick Moulton has helped me many times,” customer Jeanette Day added.
Moulton’s 40th anniversary celebration will be all day Tuesday, with grab bags, door prizes, refreshments and balloons for the kids.
