NICEVILLE — The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs recently informed Northwest Florida State College's Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic program that it has received its initial accreditation.
“Program accreditation is a tool intended to help ensure a well prepared and qualified workforce providing health care services,” said Barry Reed, the Emergency Services program director.
“It is designed to support a philosophy of ongoing improvements within a program that will ensure the highest quality education for EMS professionals throughout the country. As in other professions, the accrediting agency ensures compliance with national standards and assists the program and faculty with identifying solutions to report findings. We could not be more pleased about receiving this designation.”
