Dr. Sarah Brooke Syklawer graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree during a commencement ceremony at the Alys Robinson Stephens Center on the UAB campus.
Dr. Syklawer was hooded by her sister, Dr. Allison Syklawer Tutwiler, a Montgomery, Ala., dentist.
Dr. Sarah Syklawer has begun a three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is one of seven accepted into the class of 2017.
She is the daughter of Dr. Rick and Evelyn Syklawer of Dothan, and is the granddaughter of Edith N. Hilburn and the late Mr. Howard E. Hilburn of Crestview.
