Former Clear Channel account manager joins News Bulletin

Deanna Perry, the Crestview News Bulletin's newest media sales consultant, says working for Clear Channel Radio in Nashville, Tenn., added to her skill sets. "I offer a unique perspective of the media market as a whole, and how we can use an integration marketing solution for our customers," she said.

CRESTVIEW — When it comes to advertising, Deanna Perry loves the thrill of it all.

Particularly "when a campaign I helped create with my clients succeeds," the Laurel Hill resident said.

The Hot Springs, Ark. native now is the Crestview News Bulletin's newest media sales consultant.

ADVERTISING BACKGROUND

Perry's first advertising job was as an account manager for Clear Channel Radio in Nashville, Tenn.

Working from that location, building ads for large corporations including Pepsi Co., and growing an understanding of ad sales and marketing were the best part of her job.

The worst part? "Leaving when my husband was put on orders to Savannah, Georgia!" she said.

Still, Perry looks forward to making an impact in Northwest Florida.

"I love seeing small businesses grow and thrive in our local community," she said.

With her background in radio advertising, "I offer a unique perspective of the media market as a whole, and how we can use an integration marketing solution for our customers," she said.

FAMILY TIES

Perry and her husband Dustin, a U.S. Army staff sergeant, have three children: her stepdaughter Hannah, 8; a son, Gunnar, 5; and a 2-year-old daughter, Gentry Rose.

The family attends Mosaic Church in Crestview, visits with other family members, and they love going to the beach when time permits.
