2 arrested following Crestview meth lab bust

CRESTVIEW — Wednesday, the Crestview Police Department's Special Enforcement Team concluded a several-week narcotics investigation with the execution of a search warrant and subsequent arrest of 44-year-old Dennis Leroy Griffin, of 502 Alabama Ave.

During the investigation, police determined that methamphetamine was being manufactured in his residence, according to a CPD news release.

Police took a female who was in the residence into custody on an outstanding warrant from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office on an unrelated charge.

Griffin was charged with possession of listed chemicals for manufacturing, possession of controlled substance (Xanax and methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.

Jessica Leigh Crane was arrested on an outstanding Violation of Probation.
