CRESTVIEW — Carpet One Floor & Home stores across the United States, including Bob Taylor's Carpet One — 5902 State Road 85 N. — are accepting donations to build customized homes for catastrophically injured American soldiers.
The companies are asking customers to donate $10 at check-out to the Building for America's Bravest program. Many shoppers offer to donate even if they are not purchasing at the time, and several Carpet One Floor & Home store owners have pledged to match all donations made by customers.
Donations will go toward completing homes for hundreds of veterans still waiting for a functional place to call home.
The Crestview store's hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Visit the store or call 398-4584 for details.
