CRESTVIEW — A Crestview woman accused of punching a minor in the head and shoulder after a disagreement is due in court May 19.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies were called around 7:30 p.m. April 13, according to the arrest report. When they arrived, they spoke with the minor and 30-year-old Jessica M. Rodriguez.
The minor said that they had a disagreement and Rodriguez punched the minor in the head and shoulder, the report said. Rodriguez allegedly admitted to battering the minor.
She is charged with battery and child abuse without great bodily harm.
