Gators drop heartbreaker to Seahawks

SANTA ROSA BEACH — In most high school basketball games 91 points is more than enough to win and then some.

That wasn’t the case for Baker School’s boys basketball team Tuesday as the Gators were clipped by South Walton 96-91.

Baker got off to a slow start in the first quarter but came on strong the last three quarter.

Austin Walters led the Gator charge with 28 points. Brooks Taylor scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists for Baker. Jon Beck added 17 points and Terrell Reed 16 points.

Paxton Dixon and Josh McGrath led the Seahawks in scoring with 25 points each.
