Woman accused of prostitution pleads no contest

CRESTVIEW — A Crestview woman faces probation after allegedly soliciting an undercover officer for sex.

Stacie Nicole Moore, 23, pleaded no contest to solicitation of prostitution on April 1. Sentencing was withheld, and she was placed on probation to run concurrent to a felony probation she is already serving until February 2018.

She also faces charges for felony violation of probation.

Crestview Police officers took a report that a woman, later identified as Moore, was attempting to stop vehicles and “lifting her shirt rubbing on herself” on March 18 around 4 p.m., according to the arrest report. They received similar complaints about a woman, who police believe is Moore, for a few days.

Officers saw the woman and sent an undercover officer in with an unmarked vehicle, the report said. Eventually, negotiations ended in agreement for sexual favors, according to the report.

Moore was arrested and admitted to agreeing to have sex for $40, saying she needed to help take care of her dying mother, the report said.
