CRESTVIEW — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place at 6226 River Loop Drive in north Okaloosa County around 5:30 p.m. today.
The 35-year old male victim was alert and conscious when taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola via medical helicopter, according to the OCSO.
Investigators say a suspect is in custody and charges are pending.
They are working at this hour to determine the details of the incident, according to the OCSO.
