Investigators say the attacks took place at various locations, including a home near Fort Walton Beach, at Rocky Bayou State Park outside Niceville, at Value Place Inn in Fort Walton Beach, the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Fort Walton Beach, and at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin.

The victim says Menz had threatened the girl to keep quiet, by telling her she’d be taken from her mother, her mother would go to jail, or her mother would commit suicide if she told anyone.

She says he also threatened to kill her if she talked.
