CRESTVIEW — Publix's second Hub City location will open at 8 a.m. Nov. 8.
The 45,600 square-foot store, located on North Ferdon Boulevard, will offer the traditional grocery, meat, produce, dairy and frozen food departments, and will contain these departments: pharmacy, bakery, deli, floral and fresh seafood.
Approximately 148 Publix associates will be employed at the store. Store hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, except for opening day, which will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Separate hours apply for the pharmacy and liquor department.
“We are pleased to serve the community of Crestview with a second location and anxious to provide an exemplary customer shopping experience, along with superior products our customers have grown accustomed to,” said Dwaine Stevens, media and community relations manager for Publix.
Publix is privately owned and operated by its 188,000 employees, with 2016 sales of $34 billion. Currently Publix has 1,157 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
