CRESTVIEW — Crestview author and U.S. Army veteran Justin Durm will have a book signing soon.
Durm, who wrote the book "81 Days: The Suicide," said, "I wrote my memoir in an effort to share my story as an Army veteran and to spread awareness to stop veteran suicide by educating those who care about those of us who have served."
He will be signing copies of his book and talking to the public 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Crestview Public Library, 1445 Commerce Drive, Crestview. Books will also be available for purchase.
In conjunction with his book signing, Durm is raising $200 toward sales of his book ($73 donated so far). Funds will be used to give copies of his book and monetary support to the Code of Vets program, which works help veterans with post-traumatic stress syndrome.
